ROCKY HILL, CONN. (MARCH 16, 2023)—All of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Connecticut Districts have endorsed a Post-9/11 veteran for state-level leadership position.

VFW District 3, covering Hartford and Windham counties, and VFW District 6, encompassing Middlesex County, endorsed VFW New Haven and District 2 Commander Charles M. Pickett this week to be the 2023 Department Junior Vice Commander.

Pickett has now secured endorsements from all the six VFW Connecticut districts and by 14 of the 18 past department commanders as his campaign seeks to secure the nomination well before the June 9-11 Department of Connecticut convention.
