NEW HAVEN, CONN. (JAN. 24, 2023)—Three past Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Connecticut Commanders have endorsed VFW New Haven and District 2 Commander Charles M. Pickett to be the next Department Junior Vice Commander.

Personally endorsing Pickett are Past VFW Department of Connecticut Commanders Stanley W. Borusiewicz (2006-2007), Richard DiFederico (2009-2011), and Robert Bailey (2015-2016).

Pickett said he is honored these three comrade commanders have endorsed his candidacy so early in the election season. 

“When we organized VFW New Haven in 2015, Stan, Rich, and Bob were there with their time, advice, and resources.  They have been great allies and mentors to Post 12150 members and myself. I really appreciate public support for my candidacy,” Pickett said.
