ROCKY HILL, CONN. (September 10, 2025)—Following an 18-month committee effort, the Department of Connecticut Veterans of Foreign Wars has adopted an approved comprehensive Bylaw revision.

The governing document was streamlined from 21 pages to seven, restructured the state committee system, and mandated a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for the Department.

The proposed Bylaw revision was adopted at the 104th annual Department Convention Furthermore, the proposed Bylaw revision for the Department of Connecticut, was submitted for review of the Commander-in-Chief in accordance with Section 502 of the Manual of Procedure. They were subsequently designated amended Bylaws to reflect their replacement of previously reviewed Bylaws on September 10, 2025.
