NEW HAVEN, CONN. (Feb. 17, 2023)–The leading candidate for the 2023 VFW Connecticut Jr. Vice Commander position has announced appearances at district meetings, as the campaign seeks to solidify delegate support well before the department convention.

VFWCT2 endorsed candidate Charles M. Pickett will visit the five other Connecticut districts during the late winter months:

• 17FEB: VFWCT4, 7 p.m. at VFW New London (dinner at 6)
• 18FEB: VFWCT1, 10 a.m. at VFW Westport (light refreshments at 9)
• 24FEB: VFWCT5, 7 p.m. at VFW Winsted (dinner at 6)
• 11MAR: VFWCT3, 9:30 a.m. at VFW Rocky Hill (coffee)
• 16MAR: VFWCT6, 7 p.m. at VFW East Hampton

Currently, Pickett has achieved endorsements from 13 of 18 of the past department commanders and his home district.
