VFW New Haven and District 2 Commander Charles M. Pickett, who has become a veteran advocate and leader in Connecticut by organizing and chartering two new veteran posts in the Elm City, formally launched his campaign for 2023 VFW Connecticut Junior Vice Commander.

The two-time All-American Post Commander is attempting to be the first Iraq & Afghanistan veteran to lead the largest and oldest war veteran service organization in Connecticut by running for the junior executive position in the state.
